Today I’d like to talk about vital food and where you can get it, about ecological agriculture and its role in food producing as it is purer and more suitable to the metabolism of the human body as it acts in a full correlation with conservation and development of the environment in a scope of Nature and its decrees.
One of the main purposes of this agriculture is the production of food with flavor, texture and authentic and appealing qualities. These are obtained at the manufacturing stage on the farm by strict prohibition of the use of genetically modified organisms and by restrictions on the use of synthetic pesticides.
In order to obtain and commercialize organic products that bear the organic product logo and label, the producers must undergo a conversion operation of at least two years. What we found at Red Nose (the farm that respects all these steps) a few kilometers from Bucharest in the village of Palanca Prahova County was bunches of mixed colors from live green to almost nonexistent mauve and obviously a a breath of wholesome air. The Red Nose Farm is the place we’ve been looking for for a long time, that was supposed to be close to us and at the same time to provide us with qualitative food. It is indeed a starting point for those who feed on a lively food filled with greens, salads, juices that are supposed to be fresh and lying around. We know we are what we eat and therefore we need to be concerned about how we feed ourselves, know exactly the nutritional and dietary properties of the recipes, remembering what products fit us more or less. That’s what means eating healthy. Brillat-Savarin once wrote:” Tell me what you eat, and I will tell you who you are.” And you’d better don’t fail because food is the fuel that the body needs to move and to make each of its cells work.
So on the farm we’ll be able to find not only the most sophisticated leaves: from Kale to Red leaf lettuce and Romaine lettuce, but also, mixes of vegetables such as potatoes (white, red and even Vitelotte), Root vegetables for a cream soup by the book, local and exotic fruits apparently delivered from carefully selected farms.
My story started with the greenies found here, namely my first attachment Kale which I used to adore so much making juices smoothies and salads. The second love is the people there, whom I found which are, indeed, with God in their hearts and deeds which are rare to meet in this world. Alina and Dan are the seed of the Red Nose Farm. They’re people with a vibrant dedication of everything that belongs to the plants, acting with a deep sense of respect in front of human beings. The God has given us only one life, so let’s look for treasures that hide our hearts and for people which obedience and motivation are familiar to our spirit.
Always choose Romanian vegetables and fruits and buy food from the peasant in the market that has grown the plants as he knew better, and made it out of passion for agriculture, not the desire to make fortune.
Also, I’d want to invite each of you in a wonderful journey “A day at the farm” because the Red Nose offers you such an opportunity and its doors are always opened. You could taste the entire plantation in order to load your body and mind with beneficial energy. Thus, I put a link below for more details.
Have a blessed day!
